phones. There was a mean attenuation of 27.75 dB at 250 Hz; 32.25 dB at 500 Hz; 33.5 dB at 1000 Hz; 37.63 dB at 2000 Hz; 41.38 dB at 4000 Hz; 45.25 dB at 6000 Hz; and 46 dB at 8000 Hz
