Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to report the distribution of hearing loss cases' seen at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing in terms of age, sex and type of hearing loss. Rehabilitative  measures taken in terms of surgery  and hearing aid usage are also included in the report. For the purpose of analysis the fresh cases registered at the records section only are considered.   Re-evaluation cases and therapy cases are not included.
