| dc.description.abstract | Auditory processing disorder (APD) is a set of problems that occur in different kinds of listening tasks. It is found in children and adults as well. Different methods are used in developed countries for the early detection of APD. Auditory processing disorder (APD) is a set of problems that occur in different kinds of listening tasks. It is found in children and adults as well. Different methods are used in developed countries for the early detection of APD. These methods are not advisable in testing children below 11 years. APD is directly related to the time taken by the person to react to a speech signal.
