Abstract: Linguistic deficiencies in Specific reading disability is increasingly investigated in the recent years. This paper discusses the role of a Speech - language pathologist in the global rehabilitation programme of the reading disabled children. The bases for involvement as a team member along with Special Educationists and Educational Psychologists in order to extend his/her professional expertise and service is justified.
