<title>Sub-Typing of Dyslexia: Application of an ERP Measure</title>
    <link>http://localhost:8080//handle/123456789/1750</link>
<description>Title: Sub-Typing of Dyslexia: Application of an ERP Measure
Authors: Mamatha, N M; Shanbal, Jayashree C; Sankar, Gopi; Dhatri, S D
Abstract: Research suggests that the ERP measures such as N400 could serve as a sensitive index of lexical and semantic processing deficits in children with dyslexia (CWD). The present study attempted to further classify and subtype CWD using ERP correlates along with the behavioral correlates. Two groups of children were considered for the present study. The control group with typically developing children (TDC) included 30 children and the clinical group included 15 children with dys-lexia (CWD). Response times (RTs) and accuracy of responses were measured for behavioral correlates. N400 was recorded in all the participants and Latency and amplitude was considered for N400 correlates. The results confirmed the heteroge-neity among the children with dyslexia. Two major subtypes of children with dyslexia were identified: the phonological and the non phonological type.</description>
